In late December, right before the holidays, Alice Spadaro and Valentina Raffaelli of food-styling studio internoconcucina were invited to take up a one-day residency at The Loft. Playing with contrasts and harmonies, the duo juxtaposes patterns, textures and colors to enhance a theme or a represented idea - here, they used a variety of surfaces to complement a selection of fish. By way of experimentation, their creations result in refined yet poetic statements, always simple, clean and straight to the point.
